Meet the Team

MIKE PIPLE

Mike Piple started Option-1 Title & Escrow in October of 2006. Approached by some friends that wanted to start a Title company, they knew Mike had the entrepreneurial spirit to make it a success. Mike was also motivated by his own recent inefficient, over-priced, and paper-heavy refinance.

It is because of his vision to have a customer service oriented, competitively priced, and eco-friendly title company, that Option-1 Title & Escrow has not only survived the recent economic downturn, but in fact it has thrived. After building the “Green Closings” process, Option-1 Title & Escrow is poised to launch into the next level of service and production. Perhaps Mike’s degrees in Engineering were related to the title business after all.

Currently Mike lives in Vienna, VA with his wife of 16 years, Yamini, and their 13 year old son, Rohan. When Mike isn’t working, he enjoys playing basketball with his son, following his beloved Redskins, and listening to classic Rock.

SCOTT JEDLINSKI

Scott Jedlinski has been in the mortgage industry for the last 15 years. His experience includes managing divisions with over 80 loan officers to running the Mid-Atlantic for a prominent wholesale mortgage company. Scott is now charged with taking Option-1 Title and Escrow’s sales efforts to the next level.

With an extreme focus on customer service, Scott’s approach to sales and marketing is a perfect fit with Option-1 Title. Scott believes that working smarter is always better than just working harder. This is why Option-1’s “Green Closing” process makes his efforts so much easier. Because Option-1 is so efficient, customer service is so much easier. When outstanding customer service is in place, selling becomes a pleasure.

Currently Scott lives in Lansdowne, VA with his wife of 14 years, Beverly, and his two Yorkies, Jedi and Chewi. In Scott’s leisure time, he enjoys working out with his wife and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

EDELY “DIDI” ESGUERRA

Edely “Didi” Esguerra joined the escrow industry while still attending school full time in 1996. Quickly realizing that she wanted to make this her career, she wasted no time thoroughly learning the business from the ground up. Her drive was so strong she became the Director of Operations after only 4 years in the industry. With a goal to provide top-notch customer service to her clients, she entered the mortgage and real estate industry to better understand their needs.

Didi is consistently referred to as an irreplaceable asset by her employers and their clients. With her experience and knowledge in all aspects of title and escrow operations, and with the highly qualified team of professionals, her first challenge was to implement CEO Mike Piple’s “Green Closings” vision. Because of Didi’s expertise, Option-1 Title is one of very few in the escrow and title industry to implement an almost paperless process.

Didi currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, Michael, and her two children, MJ and Casey-Ann
